Christmas – Where people shop because of?
When you ask the people why they shopped that much in the last weeks many of them tell you because of “Christmas”. What’s that and why shopping for it? Things I asked myself since my first Christmas experience as a child.
People tend to bring others joy in their life. Nobody would be against that. Does that also mean you have to shop for joy? Who told you that shopping brings joy? Ask an average man who went shopping in the last weeks. He had probably the worst experience in his life. Therefore men are those – like me – who want to quit this commercialized “party”. Do you see a reason for it anyway?
Is Christmas just a lie?
It is. Santa Claus was invented by Coca Cola and the tree has no meaning too. Why people keep this alive?
Commercialism and capitalism force people to follow others. It was not always like this. We followed the church and its rules in earlier times. Even when the church lied nobody was allowed to question it otherwise you go to hell or got burned alive as a Witch / Witcher. Those times are gone. Today you get burned by the looks others give you if you quit Christmas totally. It’s their way to burn you alive or send you to hell.
Christmas loses the people.
A century ago people were much more into Christmas but with “Black Friday”, “Cyber Monday” and other “rebates” people tend to turn their back on Christmas more and more.
It’s not a religious thing anyway even when the church keeps lying about it.
With all the money behind this it will stay for another century and further. But will you keep it in your calendar? Quitting it keeps you away from throwing money away for something the other might not like. Quitting gives freedom and happiness.
When you once have quitted Christmas it is easy to do presents people really love. When a friend says again and again that he or she needs something. Why not give it now, on a regular day?
Do you really need a Coca Cola Santa Claus or a tree for it?
Do you need all this to make someone close to you a present?
Do you need all the “rebates” to go shopping and lose money?
Do you really think it makes you happier when you wait for it?
Do you believe in such lies and keep telling them to your children?
Do you think Christmas is really needed or can you finally quit?
I quit. I’m happy. I surprise people the whole year with things they really like. I don’t believe in faked rebate days.
